OUR TEAM!
At Little Puma Early Learning Centre, our educators are highly experienced in working with children, and are committed to the Early Childhood Education and Care profession. We successfully promote and maintain a positive team culture in which all staff members are valued, with their individual strengths and backgrounds recognised. This fosters consistency in staffing, allowing all children to build a close connection with their educators.
Continual professional learning is important to us. We actively encourage our educators to extend their professional knowledge by undertaking further studies in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care. In turn, they provide experiences and incorporate learning experiences that are deliberate and purposeful to help stimulate and engage each child.
We are very proud of our staff as they help to lead each child from exciting days of early learning, through a smooth transition into primary school.
With over a decade of experience in Early Childhood Education, I have dedicated my career to creating enriching and supportive learning environments for young children. Starting in the industry at the age of 20, I have grown both personally and professionally, earning my Diploma in Children's Services and currently working towards my Early Childhood Teaching degree.
My passion for early childhood education stems from the belief that these formative years lay the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity, confidence, and success. I am deeply committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, inspired, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
At the heart of my approach are strong, secure relationships—with children, families, and the wider community. I believe that children thrive when they feel connected and supported, which is why I prioritise open communication and meaningful collaboration with families. I see families as a child’s first and most important teachers, and I value working together to support each child’s individual journey.
recognise the power of play-based learning, providing opportunities for children to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and self-expression in a way that feels natural and joyful. By embracing diversity and fostering inclusivity, I strive to create a space where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and learns the values of empathy and kindness.
As an educator, I am committed to continuous learning and reflection, always seeking new ways to enhance the experiences of the children in my care. My greatest reward is seeing children grow into confident, capable individuals, ready to embrace the world with curiosity and a love for learning.
I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of so many children’s early years, guiding them as they take their first steps in education, friendships, and self-discovery.
